Essentially, in Let’em Ride Poker, there are community cards and player cards.  The aim of the game is to match a pair of 10s or better. The round starts once the Ante bet has been placed, that is the only compulsory bet in the game.

Let’em Ride Poker starts when five cards are dealt. Of the five cards, three of them go to the player and two of them are dealt face up, when playing online. In offline mode, the cards are dealt face down and must be kept hidden from other players. The two face down cards that are dealt are community cards.

Once the cards have been dealt, the player is given two options. Either to Raise or the Check. To raise means to increase your bet (provided you have a strong hand) to try to win. To Check, means to continue the round without increasing your bet.

Whether you decide to Raise or Check, the round continues by revealing the first of the two face-down cards. Once this has been revealed, the player can again choose to Raise or Check. After doing so, the final face-down card is revealed. The final card revealed also results in the end of the round, where the player’s card are matched up with the two face-down cards to reveal certain poker combinations to win. Remember, the minimum requirement for a win is a pair of 10s or better.

In Let’em Ride Poker, players are paid out by forming poker hands. Each poker hand pays the following:

• 10s or better pays 1:1
• Two pair pays 2:1
• Three of a kind pays 3:1
• A Straight pays 5:1
• A Flush pays 8:1
• A Full House pays 11:1
• A Four of a Kind pays 50:1
• A Straight Flush pays 200:1
• A Royal Flush pays 1000:1

Poker Hands in Let’em Ride

Let’em Ride Poker is an easy to learn casino game. Once you understand the basics of Let’em Ride Poker, the hands are the next thing you ought to know. You will either win or lose depending on what cards you hold and the community cards. If you are able to make certain poker hand combinations, you win.

It is important to note that the hands have different strength – with a lower chance of winning comes a higher payout. Below, we have included the hands in Let’em Ride Poker from strongest to weakest. The ten hands include:

• Royal Flush– This hand contains 10, J, Q, K and A all from the same suit. It is the strongest hand in the game.

• Full House – This hand is made up of a three of a kind and a pair. An example of a Full House is having three 9s and two 10s, regardless of their suit.
• Flush – This hand contains five cards that have the same suit. For instance, a Flush consists of a 2, 5, 7, 8 and J of Hearts.
• Straight – This hand consists of five cards in numerical order, whilst the suit does not matter. An example of a Straight is a 4 of Clubs, 5 of Clubs, 6 of Diamonds, 7 of Hearts and 8 of Spades.
• Three of a Kind – This hand consists of three cards that have the same value, and two unrelated cards. An example of a Three of a Kind is a 4 of Clubs, 4 of Diamonds, 4 of Spades, a 5 of Hearts and 6 of Clubs.
• Two Pair – This hand consists of two pairs of cards and one unrelated card. For instance, 7 Spades, 7 Hearts, A Diamonds, A Spades, 3 Hearts.
• One Pair – This hand consists of two matching cards and three unrelated cards. For example, 4 Spades, 4 Clubs, 2 Diamonds, 7 Clubs, 3 Hearts.
• High Card – If a hand does not contain any of the above, then it is judged according to the highest value card in it.

Side Bets

There are several Let’em Ride Poker variants that included a side bet with a progressive jackpot. To participate in the progressive jackpot, the player should wager €1. This gives the player the chance to win the progressive jackpot, which is achieved by landing a Royal Flush. As this is a progressive jackpot, the prize keeps on growing until it is eventually won.

A Royal Flush wins the full progressive jackpot prize. If you manage to land a Straight Flush, that sees the player win 10% of the jackpot. A Four of a Kind pays 500:1 whilst a Full House pays 100:1. Lastly, landing a Flush – having placed the €1 side bet, results in a 75:1 payout. This may differ from one casino to another, but the basic principle remains the same.

Basic Strategy

Let’em Ride Poker is an easy to learn casino game and players can use basic strategy to improve their chances of winning. In order to win, the player should try to reduce the house edge by following a few simple rules.

Essentially, the rules are in regard to the player’s options. Before the fourth and fifth cards are revealed, the player will have the chance to either Raise or Check. To follow basic strategy, all you have to know is whether to raise or simply to check. Once your hand is served, it is advised to raise if your three cards include one of the following:

• If your three cards are a winning hand (Tens or Better)
• If they are three of the cards needed to form a Royal Flush
• If they are the three cards needed to form a Straight Flush with no gaps, 3-4-5 or higher
• If your three cards are used in a Straight Flush with one gap and at least one card that is Ten or higher
• If your three cards are used in a Straight Flush with two gaps and at least two cards that are Ten or higher

To use basic strategy successfully, you should be aware of what is considered a gap. Any sequence of cards that has a missing number in it is considered a gap. For instance, 3, 4 and 6 has one gap. Between 4 and 6, the gap is one card (a 5). A hand that is considered to have two gaps is 9, Q and K. In this instance, between 9 and Q, there are two gaps (10 and J).

After deciding to Check or Raise, the fourth card (first of the two face-down community cards) is revealed. Once this has been revealed, you will have the choice to either Raise or Check. It is advised to Raise if your hand has one of the following:

• You have a winning hand
• You have four cards to form a Flush
• You have four consecutive cards to form an Outside Straight with at least one card that is Ten or higher

In this instance, it is important to note that an Outside Straight is a hand that only needs an additional card on either side of the sequence to complete the combination. For instance, an Outside Straight draw is the hand 3, 4, 5 and 6. To complete the sequence, the player only needs either a 2 or a 7.

The opposite of an Outside Straight is an Inside Straight. This is a hand where the player needs a specific card within the sequence. For instance, if the player has 3, 4, 5 and 7, they will need exactly 6 to complete the straight.

Basic Strategy in Let’em Ride Poker will reduce the house edge to as little as 3.51%. This does not consider the progressive jackpot side bet, which has a much higher house edge. It is quite easy to learn once you can distinguish between the strengths of each poker hand.
