How to Play All Bet Blackjack

Live All Bet Blackjack uses a similar format to European Blackjack as the game is played with 6 decks of cards. Before each round, the decks are shuffled. In order to win, players should try to get 21, or as close to it as possible, without exceeding the amount. If the player exceeds 21, they go bust, resulting in an automatic loss. The player wins if their hand is stronger than the dealer’s. 

In All Bet Blackjack, a round begins once the dealer serves two face-up cards to the players and takes a face-up and face-down card themselves. The picture cards (Jack, Queen, King) are all worth 10 whilst Ace can be either 1 or 11. Blackjack is the strongest hand in the game, beating all other hands – except for another Blackjack, which results in a push. It is formed by combining a 10-value card with an Ace.

Once the player’s two face-up cards are revealed and so is one of the dealer’s cards, the round begins. If the dealer reveals an Ace, the player can place an Insurance Bet for half of their stake. The Insurance Bet wins if the dealer has Blackjack, paying money back to the player as a 2:1 payout. If the dealer does not have Blackjack, the round continues as per usual. The player can then choose one of the following actions when playing All Bet Blackjack from Playtech:

• Stand – the player chooses to keep their current hand and not add any more cards to it.
• Hit – the player chooses to add an additional card to their hand. There is no limit as to how many cards the player can add but they must not exceed 21.

In All Bets Blackjack, the dealer is required to stand on all 17s, regardless of whether they are soft or hard. Likewise, the dealer always hits on 16.

Side Bets

• Buster – this side bet is paid when the dealer busts. The payout depends on the number of cards that the dealer busts with.
